This Top 5 are my tried and tested methods to lose half a stone quickly. It is a quick fix. Of course you know you should be eating a healthy balanced diet and exercising lots but it's not always easy.
My Top 5 quick body fixes from 3 days to a month.
1. Dr. Perricone's Face Lift diet - 3 days

You must eat salmon twice a day for the ideal effects of the DMAE, astaxanthin and the essential fatty acids in the salmon to take effect. This will increase radiance, glow and firmness to the skin.'
This diet is so easy and only takes 3 days! Perfect if you love fresh organic salmon and green vegetables, because that's mostly what you will eat. I lost half a stone in 3 days and looked and felt great. I got so many compliments.

2. Dr Joshi's detox - 28 days
I've written about the wonders of Dr Joshi's detox plan and if you have a bit longer 28 days, I recommend his plan. Lots of fresh green vegetables, chicken ( if you eat meat) and salmon. You will feel refreshed and energised and glowing.
3. Jillian Micheal's - Ripped in 30 - 30 days
Ripped in 30 is my number one exercise dvd. It only comes in at 3 in this list as there is no point in doing Jillian's 30 day plan and eat chocolates, cakes and pizza, you have to stick to a healthy eating plan.
Jillian's program is split into 4 different workouts, week 1,2,3&4. It uses her 3-2-1 method of 3 minutes of strength, 2 minutes of cardio and 1 minute of abs, and each workout lasts 25 minutes. The dvd progressively getting harder, the more challenging the more toned, fitter and stronger you will feel. Her motivational talk will make you want to buck your ideas up and take on the world. There's an online diet plan too, with lots of recipes and advice. A sure fire way to tone, it's not easy 'No one said it was going to be easy!' Jillian is charming in her micro sergeant style. I love her, Jillian will definitely whip you into shape.
4. Jason Vale 7 day juice plan - 7 days
Jason Vale is 'the Juice Master' and his 7lb in 7 days does exactly that. You need a strong will just to drink juices for 7 days and Jason's app has helpful hints to keep you motivated. It feels a bit wrong to buy 35 apples for the week and I feel this diet is too high in fruit sugars. I have completed the week, twice and did drop half a stone and felt amazing. Not eating for a week is very challenging and you may find the week difficult. Jason also offers a 3 day juice fast, I presume you would drop a few pounds.
5. Fake Tan - hours
Yes, I love a spray tan! Great to turn the skin tones from a pasty blue to honey gold. Don't make the mistake of going too dark if you're usually ivory. There are some who desire to look like deep dark brown, but my advice is to go lightly and a dash of colour is better than looking comical. And always remember to exfoliate before you try any of the methods.
A few recommends from myself and friends
- Spray tan; can be hit and miss , depending on where you go. If at a salon and it rains on the way home, then disaster will happen, streaky legs. I now have a lovely lady, Charlotte who does Brighton and Hove home visits, email me for her number.
- St Tropez salon application; a massage and tan in one. Gives a nice even tone, just don't leave it on too long, the colour goes deeper by the hour.
- Fake Bake, a friends favourite, applying by moonlight doesn't give an even application, best to follow the guide lines.
-Vita Liberata pHenomenal , another friends favourite, I have yet to try, but the tan 'lasts 2-3 weeks' The length of your holiday, most other tans fade after a few days especially when swimming in a chlorinated pool.
