Are you ready boots? Let's start walking!
Music Friday is inspired by My Ladies Memory Walk for Alzheimers Society, Nancy Sinatra's These Boots are Made For Walkin'. Not the cute kinky type but a sturdy pair of walking boots ready for Sunday 9th, would you like to join me?
Alzheimer's Society organises a few awareness and fundraising events each year, #cupcakeday was a huge success and Memory Walk where thousands of people are walking for a world without Dementia.
As you may know Dementia is very close to my heart, my mother has suffered from the illness for 7 years and has slowly faded away. Now in a home, she doesn't recognise her own family, heartbreaking for us all.
My Ladies Memory Walk
To help, My Ladies Memory Walk is on Sunday 9th October, meeting Brighton Station 10am walking from Lewes Station at 10.30, 5 miles for £5.
A lovely walk 'with something for everybody, downland views, four pubs, a farm park, Ann of Cleaves House, the Priory, a windmill' and the weather looks gorgeous too. The walk will be gentle and a chance to share and create memories.
Be great to see lots of lovely ladies (sorry chaps at home with the kids) If you'd like to be there in spirit donate at my Just Giving page
Thank you and I look forward to the day, please join me and why not join Club Cazza to hear all my latest inspiring posts and some gifts too.
Have a great weekend,
