A calendrical blue moon is the second full moon in one calendar month.
It doesn’t have any astrological significance, although the Astro Twins wrote
‘The January 31 full moon is special for three reasons: it’s the third in a series of supermoons, when the moon is closer to Earth in its orbit and about 14 percent brighter than usual. It’s also the second full moon of the month, making it a “blue moon” AND, this "super blue moon" will pass through the Earth’s shadow and generate a total lunar eclipse—and take on a reddish hue; an effect known as a “blood moon.” The last rare convergence of all three of these lunar events happened 150 years ago, in 1866.’

I LOVE the MOON. Some people may think I’m a space cadet, I have so many crazy ideas.
There’s something about the moon, it controls the waves and as John Gray said ‘Women are like waves’ We are emotional, up and down, choppy, calm, in and out.
So what does one do on a blue moon?
‘A silent moonlight walk experiencing the land at night and the moon, walking in the dark without touches as part of a group, in a safe and supported way. By walking the land mindfully we fill ourselves with the light and the dark in preparation for the year ahead. ‘ by School Of The Wind
This did appeal for a while until I remembered I was a football widow for the evening.
A friend suggested looking out the window in silence.
The moon has risen nicely over The Crescent pub, can I sit in silence for 20 mins?
I opened my bedroom window wide, creating a perfect frame, turned out the lights, sat on the floor cushioned by a pillow.
I broke my silence immediately, the moon was so bright! I nipped to get my polarized prescription sunglasses.
I recorded the meditation for 20 minutes. The ambient sounds from the Clifton crossroads; cars passing, motorbikes delivering, sirens, dogs barking, high heels on the pavement, a few breathing techniques and stretches.

Lie on your bed, relax and listen.
Or open your bedroom window wide and gaze at the moon; full, waxing, waning, gibbous, crescent, sit gently on a pillow and relax for 20 minutes.

Start with 5 minutes. Breathing in and out, notice any thoughts and return to your breathe. Relax.

Crisps and biscuits. I’m trying to avoid, crisps and biscuits. Found some lovely lentil chilli and lemon crisps vegan friendly and I’ve eaten far too many dates, my skin has freaked! Too much sugar!
