I couldn't resist posting this video today, the title song from the rock opera of 1970, Jesus Christ Superstar, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s blockbuster.
The musical was cutting edge and highly controversial, at the time, with certain religious groups. South Africa banned the film for being 'irreligious' def is the absence, indifference, rejection of, or hostility towards religion. I know a lot of people who feel this way and consider Easter a time for getting wasted for 4 days or eating stacks of chocolate, rather than a religious celebration of the son of God rising from the dead to give Christians faith for all eternity. The story of is a bit sketchy; maybe there was something in the water, in those days? I'm not sure if Jesus actually lived, died, rose or if there is a god, who knows! I was brought up a Catholic and attended a Convent School. I am lapsed.
Lots of people do believe and have totally faith in the story; we all have our own thoughts.
