Do you look in the mirror and wish you could be forever young? Do you want a natural alternative to injections and incisions? Do facial exercises work? Have you ever tried them? How long to they take to work? How do you remember to do them everyday?
Ageing is natural and beauty comes from within, but of course the outside needs help too, to stay youthful one has to feel and look good.
Never fancied Botox, fillers and knives, once you start, you really can't stop. Facial exercises is an easier and free alternative. Although more time consuming and the remembering to do it every day.
It make total sense to exercise the muscles in your face, what happens to your bum and tum when you don't exercise? They loose tone and go baggy and saggy. The same happens to your face, who is developing jowls and a double chin? It happens, it's age and gravity.
Look how many muscles there are in the face, imagine any problem areas. I need to work on my depressor anguli oris, as well under the eye and procerus and frontal, the list goes on...
I've been investigating facial exercises for years, reading and applying books and watching youtube videos, today I share with you

Eva Fraser is the original facial exercise guru. She says 'Muscles of the face can be re-trained like any other muscles to become firmer and strong again.'
Her book has several routines; a warm up to tone the muscles and then a routine and an advanced routine. Lots of advice to stay young, the usual; eat healthily and exercise. Tips on make up for different ages and her top tip Vaseline as an under eye cream...
The eye lift exercise definitely works I'm trying to reduce my mallor festoons (cheekbone bags) and her nasolabial fold ( lines from nose to mouth) exercise seem to work too.

2. Tonya Zavasta
Tonya Zavasta looks amazing for a lady nearly 60, her website Beautiful on Raw gives so much advice on raw eating, she produces her own products and has written tons of books.
Her YouTube channel has a great double chin exercise which really works, you can feels the burn after 10 repetitions, it's in my routine for sure.
Maybe it's Tonya's raw food diet that makes her look so youthful, could you go raw? Future post...

The facelift massage book is a guide to 'rejuvenate your skin and reduce fine lines and wrinkles' Packed with natural face massage, face exercises, recipes for natural beauty and a section on the lymph which is linked to my demon mallor festoons. I apply some of Kundan and Narendra Mehta's techniques into my routine.
5. Carol Maggio
The book has loads of excerises to tone your face and lots of advice. Harper & Queen says 'One of the 100 best beauty products in the world' Carole has had some cosmetic surgery so in at 5. I do like her visualisation advice, 'imagine your face lifting' whilst doing the exercises.
So the BIG question, does facial exercise work? I believe they do!
One has to perform the exercises daily and when you can, twice a day. The best way is in the morning and at night when you put on your products, so you get the 'slide' The effort is worth the results. One has to continue doing the exercises to get the best results, it is a commitment, why don't you try it out?
